Bathroom Renovations Ottawa613 555-0108

Full bathroom renovation

Down to the studs: new plumbing where needed, subfloor repair, waterproofing, tile, vanity, fixtures and a fan that actually vents outside.

A full renovation takes the room back to the studs. That is when you find the soft subfloor behind the toilet, the fan ducted into the attic instead of outside, or the old galvanized supply lines. We fix those before anything pretty goes in.

A typical main bathroom takes two to four weeks once materials are on site. Tile and vanity choices are the usual source of delays, so we ask you to pick them before demolition starts.

Moving fixtures or changing drain and vent piping generally needs a City of Ottawa plumbing permit. Replacing a fixture in the same spot generally does not. We tell you which applies to your plan before you sign.
